Moleskine + MoMA

An ongoing collaboration between Moleskine and the film department of MoMA has ensured that film directors are given a bit of recognition within the world of stationery.

The collaboration began in 2006 with a retrospective for Roberto Rossellini and has since led to limited edition Moleskines developed for Tim Burton, Spike Jonze, Bernardo Bertolucci and Jia Zhangke, among many other noted film directors. Each notebook has been designed as a tribute to the artist with their name, plus a selection of famous film titles printed on a band around the notebook. For longevity, the director’s signature is also stamped onto the cover.

They’re part of Moleskine’s special project branch and with most of them only available for VIP guests… so we’ll have to just peek at them online.

I must have one of these – so my style with the leather bound cover. Very original – great idea, great product. Love.
