Re-gift the wrapping paper: Souvenir Society

Published:  April 24, 2014

Based in Melbourne, the Souvenir Society is a small design studio specialising in stationery goods such as greeting cards, tags, twine and wrapping paper of 100% recycled FSC certification. It is the brainchild of design duo Kasia Gadecki, a packaging designer, and Allison Colpoys, a book designer.

Their main aim, however, is pushing their wrapping cloth, or furoshiki – an age-old Japanese tradition of wrapping and reusing. “The cloth wrap becomes an exciting part of the gift-giving process and is something that can be passed on from person to person to enjoy – ad infinitum!” they explain.
